Insurance carriers and plans accepted by South Shore Vein
Medical insurance carriers generally cover medically necessary treatments for varicose veins and venous disease. Coverage, of course, varies from carrier to carrier and plan to plan, as do costs, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
To determine if you are covered, to what extent and with what out-of-pocket responsibility, please be sure to contact your insurer directly. At South Shore Vein, our friendly, knowledgeable staff will assist you in determining the scope of your coverage and what steps are required before treatment will be approved and reimbursements paid.
In the interim, below is a list of the insurance carriers and plans that we accept. Please note that insurance carriers and contracts are subject to change, so please be sure to contact your insurer directly for the most current and valid disposition of your coverage for vein treatments. Spider veins are not usually covered by insurance as they are considered cosmetic. In many cases, treatment will be covered only after a period of time wearing compression stockings.
